Why do people purchase art commissions? Art commissions are personalised, one-of-a-kind drawings/paintings to create a fond memories, commemorate an event, represent a loved one or pet, to match home decor or to provide as a gift.

What is the price? The price includes the art commission (ink house drawings) and I take a digital image which can be uploaded to my website to print other items. I can provide you the digital image (see price below). Prices can vary for commissions completed using other mediums:

Technique Sketch and then ink and colour are applied to art paper. The drawings/paintings can take several days to produce.

What do you need to provide? Photos taken using a phone/ipad. I need to see the house/image you would like drawn. You will also need to provide feedback about the pencil sketch if you want something changed. I am using ink/watercolour/acrylic and once this is applied it cannot be removed.

Will the house/image look like a photo? It will be a piece of art and will not be exactly like the photo you provide.

Will I redraw an image? A redrawn image will be at the cost of a new drawing because each commission can take several days to produce.

Do you require payment up front? Yes, I will request this once I have discussed what type of drawing you would like.

Do you include framing? No, framing is a personal choice and better made by the owner of the commissioned art. I can provide suggestions and some photographs of other client's framed art for your reference.

Why don't you automatically release the digital file? I have invested in the equipment (camera, lighting, lessons, photoshop subscription etc) to take the image and it can be used to print merch and other items with other providers. You do have the option to use the original drawing and take a digital image for your own use prior to framing.
